Station Triangeln in Malmö, winner of the Kasper Salin Award 2011
2012-01-17
The architectural vison of a freemounted steel structural work is realized by hidden glass supplies. SGS was responsible to the static design, function and performance. The way down to the station is constructed by a structural glazing system with both transparent and non transparent glass.
The rounded surface, seen from distance, in reality consists of triangular shaped sheets of flat glass. A special constructed system with a millimetre precision!
Station Triangeln was the winner of the Steel Building Award as well as the Kasper Salin Award 2011.
