New facade project in Copenhagen, Denmark

SGS has been awarded the contract for the exterior skin of the new “Industrins Hus” building in the centre of Copenhagen. The façades and roofs are mainly in glass. SGS will produce secondary support as well as the complete installation.
SGS will supply 8000 m² ventilated double façade, 2000 m² ground floor facades including doors, 4000 m² internal atrium facades and a 3000 m² glass roof including secondary steel construction, BIPV (triple glass units with solar cells) and internal sun-screens.
Installation will start in 2011.
